Leigha and the Triplets

It won't be long now!

Milestones have always been difficult for me to keep up with. I have spent over $150 on baby books that remain blank. When Leigha was born, I was better about taking movies of her. I would always say what new milestone she has reached, on what day, so that I could later (when she is 40?) go back and write it down in her baby book. I was doing great, UNTIL I realized that I had lost a tape. I don't think I have ever found it, but I have also never gone back through the tapes to write anything down.

The boys aren't as lucky. I have not been video taping them, instead, I have a gazillion (do you know how many that is?) pictures of them. Thankfully, I started this blog and have been keeping better track of each milestone. However, those baby books are still bare! I will admit that some of the dates are really estimates. It's hard to keep track of when the three of them do something for the first time.

Today was different! I went up to rescue the boys from their cribs. As soon as I opened the door, my mouth dropped and I RAN down the stairs to get my camera. Matthew was sitting up on his knees leaning against the wall! This is HUGE! Matthew has been working on sitting up for months. Unfortunately, Matthew's crib is still at the tallest setting. I guess Noe better fix that tomorrow! He sat on his bottom and scooted over to the edge of the crib. He's a little too tall for my comfort now.

I know that this was easier for him in the crib, due to the fact he could pull himself up, but this was HUGE! I hope that he is able to do this in other settings soon!

I am so proud of Matthew!
