Two Down, One to Go!

Noah took his first steps today! He definitely is driven by determination. Robert took a few steps and then started crawling. Noah, on the other hand, kept practicing and practicing. They did this with standing too. I think Noah is just trying to keep up with his big brother. Thankfully, I had just charged my video camera and put a new tape in so I got it all recorded. Tonight I tried to take some pictures, but he was in a silly mood!

Maybe if Mom had changed his sagging diaper, he would have had better luck standing up for longer periods of time.

Good grief, with the diaper!!!! Are you hoping he'll be a weight lifter? LOL!

P. S. are yours still on two naps?

Yes, we are still on two naps a day. The exceptions would be when we go out. There are many days (especially on weekends) where we are out during one of the naps. I don't allow naps to stop us from doing things. Today they will be missing their second nap because Noe has to bring them to my school and go to work early. We are going to head out to Costco with the Grubbs!

They are so adorable! My only advice is: PUT A ROCK IN HIS DIAPER. Delay the walking as much as possible, because after walking comes running and climbing!!

Just within the past month our kids have reduced from 2 naps to 1 (22 months). It certainly didn't happen when I thought it would (at 12-18 mos). They would just get SO cranky in the afternoon and a little 'downtime' made a huge difference.

The triplet mom dinner is tonight at Cheesecake Factory on the other side of the universe, but I thought I'd mention it so you didn't think I FORGOT YOU!!!!!

Michelle, are you a little paranoid since you forgot to mention the sale? LOL! I have 3 weeks off in October, I would love to join you guys on some playdates!

Jen and Jen, thanks for the kind words! It's so fun to read that my life is a) normal compared to other triplets, b) abnormal even to other triplets, c) going to get worse than I thought, or d) all of the above!
