All is Right in the World!

Another front tooth bites the dust! At least this time it came from the child who SHOULD be losing a front tooth! On Thursday, Leigha pulled her tooth out at school. She was so proud, and it was sooooooo bloody! I thought the tooth fairy would appreciate it more if we soaked it over night in water.

She was so excited to have the tooth fairy coming to visit again that she decided to write the tooth fairy a note. We had kept Matthew's front tooth safe while we determined what we were going to do about it. Leigha decided that it was time for the tooth fairy to visit them both. She was very happy to see that she received one more dollar than her little brother--all is right in the world.

On a different note, I am so excited to share the results of our Dimes for Down Syndrome fundraiser. I have been up to my eyeballs in counting change. We have about 760 students at our school. When I looked up the totals from other elementary schools last year, most of them averaged about $1000. After nine days of students donating their change, allowance, etc. we raised over $2,200 to donate to this wonderful cause! Needless to say, I was THRILLED!
