This weekend, in NYC, Team Signing Time will be walking for the National Down Syndrome Society. Anyone can join the team, either by walking or joining as a virtual member. Team Signing Time is being led by Rachel Coleman, co-founder of Signing Time. Their goal is to raise $5000 by Sunday and they need our help to reach it! I have a Signing Time question for ya. It has nothing to do with the wonderful walk you mentioned but I thought I would ask it nonetheless. Have you used the Signing Time flash cards? Of my three one does much better at speaking if he has the sign to go with it and I need to add more to his vocabulary. I was thinking that these flash cards would be just the trick but they are a bit pricey. I am hoping to justify the expense and hope you can say that you used them and they are worth the money. Have you used them? Do you know anyone who has? What do you think?
Hi Tammie! Funny that you ask about those, they are in the process of being shipped to me right now! I can let you know as soon as they arrive. My boys love the sign language board books that we have, so I am pretty sure that the flashcards will be loved. Check back in the middle of the week for my take on them.
